I would like to share how pleased and grateful we are for the expertise, professionalism, and thoroughness of Roanoke Mechanical Home Energy Division's Trina Beverly. Ms. Beverly conducted our home energy audit via our request to Appalachian Power to review on site all aspects of our home for energy savings suggestions. From the appointment setting through completion, every communication was followed through; every appliance was scanned; every door, window, plumbing and heating cabinet, and more were inspected; and, every question was addressed with clear, understandable explanations. In addition, we will get a detailed report of the findings and recommendations. Lastly, Ms. Beverly was outstandingly diligent and extremely nice. When you are completing the Appalachian Power online form to request the audit, we highly recommend selecting Roanoke Mechanical! ~ Margaret M

They are really professional!! They replaced my ac, furnace and hot water tank together fast. My old craps are located in crawlspace and it is hard to get in. They not only replaced all the old euqipments. They found the best place for each one. I didnt even ask them to do so. Now my new stuff looks beautiful and organized.And they charge super fairly!! They are low key people. When they came to give me estimate, they do NOT brag. But they actually knows everything about hvac! They are the "good" good people who works hard in Roa. Roanoke Mechanic was a wonderful company to work with for our heating and cooling needs. We could communicate with them by text and also by phone. They listened to our needs and concerns and recommended what would work best for our home. We had a new HVAC system installed in our basement for the main floor and the basement (which never had its own heat/air source). They also installed a new heat pump upstairs at a cost that was $9,000 less than a competitor. They took out all of our radiators too. Our house now has HVAC that keeps our whole house comfortable in all seasons. We also trusted them to complete the work without us in the house. ~ Claire G

Our AC went out at the beginning of week of 90* days to come. It was 85* inside the house and already miserable. We called 3 companies... desperate for help. The first "experts" sent their sales person with their technician- I don't think they had any intention to try and fix it... but for $20,000 they'd replace it. The second came and agreed it needed to be replaced... they were only slightly better at $18,000... Then thank the Lord, Taylor came out! It was late in the day, but he showed up and within 5 minutes of trouble shooting knew exactly what it was- had the part in his truck- and fixed it! We slept in cool air... and the cost was extremely reasonable! Taylor came recommended from a friend - her words were "he's humble and just good people"... she was exactly right! We wholeheartedly recommend Taylor and Roanoke Mechanical... when we replace our system in the near future he'll be the only call we make! ~ Laura

I was referred to Taylor with Roanoke Mechanical as a second opinion, after Ostrom quoted me thousands of dollars to fix our AC. Taylor and his team came out the day after I called, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and cleaned our machine for a much cheaper price than I was expecting! My family wouldn’t have been able to afford air conditioning with what we were originally quoted from Ostrom, but Roanoke Mechanical was able to help us with a more than reasonable and fair price. Through Community Housing Partners, Dave and crew came and did a complete HVAC system install to replace a 40+ year old system in my mobile. I was impressed by their professionalism, cleanliness, and, they managed to complete everything in one day! Communication was open and honest. They came when they said they would, on time, which is a bonus in today's world. I have run the entire system and everything appears to be working perfectly. They also installed a new refrigerator for me as well. I highly recommend Roanoke Mechanical and will absolutely call on them if ever needed. I have only worked with this company for about 6 months after purchasing a new house this summer. However, they have been the best company I have ever worked with for HVAC. They have not once pushed me to purchase the big ticket items and truly listen to my needs. They could have absolutely pushed for a new unit to be installed, but were more than happy to work with me to keep the old unit alive and kicking. I have been impressed with every single person I have talked to over the phone or in person. They never fail to have an answer for all questions or hypotheticals, big or small. Roanoke Mechanical Heating & Cooling recently replace two units in my home. They were extremely knowledgeable with their products and very professional. They did not leave one scrap of paper or wiring anywhere. It was clean as a whistle. They even vacuumed the carpet where some particals fell from the new insulation. Had a great experience with Roanoke Mechanical installing a mini split heat pump system. They were organized, quick and easy to schedule with, and thorough, handling lots of details outside of the direct install, like city permitting, registering the Daikin warranty, and coming back to resolve a small issue (not caused by any error on their part) to get the permit approved. Even closed everything out with a gift snack delivery. :) They are clearly committed to providing a great customer experience and following through on their work. ~ Marie C

I was really impressed with the efficient, responsive, professional, punctual, and knowledgeable service from Roanoke Mechanical Heating and Cooling when they handled my air conditioning repair. The technician explained the issue clearly, arrived on time, and fixed the problem quickly. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude made the whole experience stress‑free. The owner of the company himself came to my house last minute to make adjustments to my air conditioner and was one of the most down-to-earth guys you could ever meet and talk to! We had previously gotten a quote from a different company and competitor and run, mechanical heating and air was able to cut that price in half, without sacrificing quality. We have a super efficient and up-to-date York unit and have been extremely pleased with its performance! We moved to Botetourt county a little over a year ago. I needed a mini split for the workshop. I called around, and Roanoke Mechanical had the best quote. Later, I needed to replace two water heaters and I wanted heat pump water heaters. I received a few bids and Roanoke Mechanical again had the best offer, maybe not entirely based on price, but on response. These guys respond almost immediately. That's a big plus for me. Then, my church needed a new heat pump and furnace, and a second furnace for another system and Roanoke Mechanical had the best proposal. Finally, I needed to replace two old Carrier heat pump systems in my home, along with furnaces (dual fuel systems) and I couldn't get a response from from another dealer but Roanoke Mechanical quoted a York modulating system and the price seemed reasonable and I hired them. Plus, but that time I had dealt with them so much that I was very comfortable with them and knew they did excellent work. You won't go wrong with them for HVAC needs. ~ Andrew P

We've been using Roanoke Mechanical for not quite a year, but we've already been very impressed with them! They've done a great job cleaning and maintaining our HVAC, and also vented our exhaust fan outside earlier this summer. I ended up having to call last night after hours when our exhaust fan suddenly stopped working, and they called back first thing in the morning to set up a time in the afternoon to take a look a look at it. They were able to get it working and didn't charge us. We'll absolutely keep using their services! ~ Christina R

This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a contractor/repair company. I needed my AC fixed ASAP because my home was being sold in a few days. I was referred to Taylor, instead of him telling me what time works for him, he asked me what time I needed them to come by. he was able to come by the very next morning and was even early!!! him and his coworker fixed the issue quickly and the price was extremely reasonable. 10/10 will FOR SURE hire them again! ~ Liz W

Ive had my system for a few days now and I have nothing but good things to say. Let me start off by saying, they really, really want your business. Getting news you need a new system is stressful and i began the process of getting quotes. I sent a message to Roanoke Mechanical on July 4th. The next day i got a call asking about my situation. I was surprised how fast they called me considering the holiday. Turns out, they had responded even faster than I knew. they actually responded on the 4th of July but it went to my spam folder and i didnt even see it. they followed up often and responded to my questions very fast. They sent someone over to check out my situation and gave me several options. They were over $4000 less than than my other cheapest estimates for a comparable system and over 1/2 the cost of some of my other estimates. After making my decision to go with them, they set up a day very quickly. The team arrived and got to work. It was a day long process and they were incredibly friendly. Hired to perform blower door test for final occupancy. Performed as expected and as quoted. Also helped with guidance for compliance with make up air for appliances which saved me several hundred dollars, as the county was tryin to press me to install additional components. Those components weren’t necessary based on the formula RM provided. RM signed off that what we had was more than enough air for appliances. ~ Michael M
